Quincy, MA

Quincy, Massachusetts, known as the “City of Presidents”, is the birthplace of John Adams and John Quincy Adams. John Hancock, the first signer of the Declaration of Independence was also born in Quincy. The town is named for John Quincy, grandfather of Abigail Adams. The Adams family made their home at Peacefield (pictured above). Howard Johnson’s and Dunkin’ Donuts were founded in the city, located just south of Boston.
